Thanks to all the contestants and audience members who went GOWNTOWN. The 2nd Contest Ball was even better and bigger than the first.
Congrats to "Marsha" who pranced off with a GOWNIE (TM) and $100! The contestants rocked it!

Facebook Event InviteThe outrageous B-GIRLZ are back, and this time with a whole new monthly night at Buddies in “B” Times. GOWNTOWN is a night of drag performers - “old”, “new” and “only on a dare” - who compete to be audience favourite of the night and win $100 and “Gownie” trophy.
Enjoy SPECIAL GUEST performances by some of Canada’s most underrated and “not to be missed” acts - see what kind of trouble the B-Girlz can get into when left to their own devices.
Toronto’s top DJ & producer DWAYNE MINARD, fresh from his debut on Hed Kandi, gets your “hands up in the air” with chunky, funky disco/ house - and in her DJing debut, “DJHK” (DJ Hard Kora).
Gowntown will be held the 4th Friday of every month beginning in October (No show December)
Want to win $100 and the coveted “Gownie” award? GLAM-GLAM Productions and Buddies and Bad Times Theatre are seeking fun-loving contestants for GOWNTOWN’S DRAG CONTEST (everyone welcome!). All contestants must perform a 3-5 minute number - the more creative the better; Winners will be chosen by the audience. (Email gowntown@glam-glam.com to enter).

Thanks to everyone who came out in support of our first, and certianly not last, GOWNTOWN. The audience response was overwhelming and we're excited to make the event even bigger and better in November. The talent in the show is totally undeniable, and we really think we've got the start of a great night out.
CRYSTAL VISIONS walked off with $100 tax free and a GOWNIE (wire hanger) to hang her frock after a stirring live vocal performance ala Stevie Nicks!
