The outrageous B-GIRLZ are back, and this time with a whole new monthly night at Buddies in “B” Times.
GOWNTOWN is a night of drag performers - “old”, “new” and “only on a dare” - who compete to be audience favourite of the night and win $100 and “Gownie” trophy.
Enjoy SPECIAL GUEST performances by some of Canada’s most underrated and “not to be missed” acts - see what kind of trouble the B-Girlz can get into when left to their own devices.
Toronto’s top DJ & producer DWAYNE MINARD, fresh from his debut on Hed Kandi, gets your “hands up in the air” with chunky, funky disco/ house - and in her DJing debut, “DJHK” (DJ Hard Kora).
Gowntown will be held the 4th Friday of every month beginning in November.

GLAM-GLAM Productions and Buddies and Bad Times Theatre are seeking fun-loving contestants for GOWNTOWN’S AMATEUR DRAG CONTEST (semi-professionals welcome).
*All contestants must perform a 3 -5 minute number - the more creative the better; Winners will be chosen by the audience. (Email gowntown@glam-glam.com to enter).
